2015 registered and proud to be a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Overview We are currently seeking CNC Machinists / Operators with a range of experience levels. Whether you are an experienced machinist who can independently set up and program machines or an operator looking to grow your skills, there may be an opportunity for you. This position offers a 4-day work week, opportunities for overtime, competitive pay, and opportunities for advancement and continued training. Responsibilities Operate CNC milling machines and/or CNC turning centers to produce precision metal and plastic components. Load and unload raw materials and finished parts. Start and monitor CNC machines during production runs. Inspect parts during production to ensure they meet quality and dimensional requirements. Perform in-process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, gauge blocks, gauge pins, and other inspection equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, bills of material, smaterialsrts, and manufacturing specifications. Identify dimensions, tolerances, sequence of operations, and setup requirements from drawings and documentation. Select, align, and secure fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials based on experience level. Set speeds, feeds, coolant flow, depth, and angle of cut as required. Retrieve, enter, and edit CNC machine programs as skill level allows. Perform machine setups, tooling changes, offsets, and first-article inspections as experience permits. Perform basic programming using G-code and/or conversational programming when applicable. Properly deburr edges and holes and protect finished parts from damage. Monitor machines for malfunctions, quality issues, or out-of-tolerance conditions and make adjustments when appropriate. Perform basic equipment maintenance and keep work areas, tooling, and fixtures organized. Follow safety, quality, and production procedures. Maintain accurate production and inspection records. Communicate equipment or production issues to department leads and supervisors. Work with team members and management to troubleshoot manufacturing issues. Maintain an organized work environment using lean manufacturing principles. Perform other duties as assigned.

ExperienceRequired Previous experience operating CNC mills and/or CNC lathes in a manufacturing or production environment.

Preferred / Additional

Experience The following skills may qualify candidates for higher-level responsibilities and pay: CNC machine setup experience. Experience with fixtures, tooling, offsets, and first-article inspections. CNC programming experience, including G-code or conversational programming. Experience with Fanuc and/or Haas controls. Working knowledge of Mastercam. Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T). Experience machining copper, brass, or engineered plastics. Ability to independently troubleshoot machining, tooling, and dimensional issues. Experience setting speeds, feeds, tooling, and machine offsets.
