Job Summary The Shipping and Receiving Inventory Specialist handles all duties relative to merchandise (general merchandise, parts, and accessories) receipt and shipment. Parts and Service Repairs Responsibilities:
Handle all duties related to merchandise. Ship and receive departmental and/or dealership inventory. Assist in the maintenance of inventory accuracy and control inventory related records. Create special orders as directed by the manager. Notify appropriate department when special orders or back-ordered items are received. Assist with periodic inventory cycle counts as directed by supervisor. Assist with organization and cleanliness of inventory area. Receive and stock incoming inventory as well as verifying receipts against purchase orders. Comply with all company policies, procedures and safety standards. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Automotive parts experience is a plus but not required. Good communication and customer service skills. Computer competency and basic math skills. Organizational and time management skills. Professional, well-groomed personal appearance. Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
