Music & Arts seeks a full-time Senior Sales Associate to lead sales and service in our retail store. In this role, you'll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting band and orchestra instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons. You'll model exceptional customer service, manage POS transactions, support merchandising and inventory, and mentor junior associates. This position partners closely with school service reps and lesson staff to drive store performance while advancing our mission of expanding access to quality music education in a collaborative, student-focused environment. Responsibilities Provide expert, student-focused sales support for instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons Deliver exceptional customer service to students, parents, and educators Process sales, rentals, and payments accurately using POS systems Support merchandising, inventory stocking, and visual standards Educate customers on lesson programs, repairs, and financing options Collaborate with school service reps and lesson instructors to drive enrollments Mentor and support junior sales associates on products and service standards Meet or exceed individual and store sales and performance goals Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally Uphold a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment Required Skills Retail sales Customer service Point-of-sale (POS) systems Product merchandising Inventory management Cash handling and reconciliation Music product knowledge (band/orchestra) Cross-selling and upselling Rental and lesson program administration CRM or customer tracking tools
