Suburban Furniture is looking for an energetic, friendly, and creative person to join our sales team! Do you love meeting people, helping them find exactly what they're looking for, and making a space feel just right ? If so, you might be a great fit for us! This is a part-time sales position with weekday hours available and rotating Saturday shifts required. At Suburban Furniture, our #1 priority is taking great care of our customers and helping them find the right products for their homes. You'll work directly with customers throughout our showroom, helping them choose everything from vinyl plank flooring and comfortable reclining sectionals to mattresses, accessories, and the finishing touches that make a house feel like home. This is a sales position , but we don't believe in the typical high-pressure furniture sales approach. We believe in listening to our customers, understanding what they need, and helping them find the right solution. You'll also have the opportunity to bring your creativity to our showroom by helping create and refresh displays that inspire our customers. No previous furniture or interior design experience is necessary—we'll teach you what you need to know! We're looking for someone who is personable, motivated, willing to learn, and excited to develop their sales skills. What we're looking for: Someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and selling Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable starting conversations with customers Motivated by helping customers and achieving sales goals A creative eye and an interest in furniture, flooring, or home design Dependable, energetic, and willing to learn Someone who enjoys being part of a team What you'll do: Welcome customers and guide them through our showroom Learn about and sell our furniture, flooring, mattresses, and accessories Ask questions to understand customers' needs, style, and budget Recommend products and help customers make confident purchasing decisions Follow up with customers and build lasting relationships Create and refresh showroom displays and decorating vignettes Keep the showroom looking beautiful, organized, and inviting No furniture sales or interior design experience is required. This is a learning and teaching environment, and we'll provide the training and support to help you grow into the role. Suburban Furniture is a destination in Southern Minnesota for furniture, flooring, mattresses, and home accessories. We're known for our personal customer service, unique product lineup, and constantly changing showroom.
