Homemakers Companions We are currently looking for reliable, caring, and compassionate caregiver , including Spanish-speaking caregivers , to join our team. Our clients are located throughout Connecticut , private residences.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR EMPLOYEES WHO ARE

Disciplined, dependable, and attentive Caring, respectful, and cooperative with clients Flexible and willing to work different schedules Comfortable working independently in a client's home Comfortable to live with client in home Able to provide a positive and caring presence

CAREGIVER RESPONSIBILITIES

Depending on the client's level of independence and individual needs, responsibilities may include: Meal preparation and basic domestic services Laundry and light housekeeping Providing companionship and engaging in conversation Assisting with mobility, including getting in and out of bed or a wheelchair Reminding clients to take medications Assisting with personal hygiene, including bathing, toileting, and brushing teeth Changing bed linens regularly Assisting with activities of daily living based on the client's limitations and needs Accompanying clients on errands and appointments when needed Monitoring clients and reporting changes in their condition Responding quickly and responsibly in emergency situations

REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of experience as a Caregiver, PCA, CNA, or HHA Weekend availability Flexible schedule Spanish-speaking preferred Experience working with clients with Dementia/Alzheimer's preferred
