Job Description

We are looking for a skilled, dedicated Personal Care Assistant to support an elementary special education classroom. This individual will work directly within the classroom setting to provide essential behavioral and academic support, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment for students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and classroom-wide support to students within a special education setting. Implement behavioral intervention strategies and support plans to manage challenging behaviors effectively. Help maintain a structured, positive, and safe classroom environment. Monitor student progress and collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to meet individual student goals. Assist students with daily academic tasks and reinforce lessons delivered by the classroom teacher.

Qualifications & Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED. Prior experience working in a school setting, specifically dealing with behavioral challenges. #Education
