Cranston, RI Schedule:
32 Hours per Week, 2nd Shift Are you passionate about supporting women and families as they build healthier futures? SSTARBIRTH, a long-term residential substance use treatment program serving pregnant, postpartum, and parenting women, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Residential Counselor to join our dedicated team. At SSTARBIRTH, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day by helping mothers and their children thrive in a safe, supportive, and recovery-focused environment. What You'll Do Implement daily program schedules and activities Supervise and support residents and their children throughout the shift Ensure a safe, secure, and nurturing living environment Monitor and document client self-administration of medications Complete shift documentation and maintain accurate records What We're Looking For Compassionate and professional individuals who enjoy working with women and families Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to maintain a structured, supportive environment Commitment to promoting recovery, stability, and wellness Why Join

Experience and Skills:
Skills/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED. Good communication skills. Ability to work independently. Crisis prevention and intervention skills preferred. Prior experience working in Residential Treatment and/or knowledge of early recovery related issues is preferred.
HOURLY WAGE RANGE
$18.00 per hour
