Job Description

Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract Dedicated social work professionals have a unique opportunity to make a difference in the educational setting through a full-time, onsite contract position serving K-12 students in Colorado. In this role, you'll support approximately 45 students across at least two schools, helping to foster their learning, emotional growth, and progress as they work towards their academic and personal goals.
Key Qualifications:
Valid CDE license in hand or eligibility and willingness to apply for one Experience providing social work services within a school setting, particularly K-12 populations Strong ability to engage with students across a wide range of abilities and backgrounds Adaptable approach to meeting individual student needs and providing meaningful interventions Commitment to maintaining student supervision and ensuring a safe, supportive environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and implement targeted services addressing students' academic, social, and emotional needs Collaborate with educational staff to support student achievement and well-being across multiple schools Establish and communicate high expectations, promoting the development of critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-advocacy skills in students Continuously adapt intervention strategies to meet each student's unique strengths and challenges Uphold policies and procedures related to the health, safety, welfare, and education of all students on your caseload This contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with an engaged school community for the entire 2026-2027 school year.
