In this energetic role, you will lead the safe navigation and handling of jetskis and boats, oversee crew operations, and maintain vessel safety standards. Your passion for maritime safety and watercraft handling will drive memorable adventures for our guests while adhering to all regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Safely operate jetskis and boats, ensuring compliance with US Coast Guard (USCG) regulations and maritime safety procedures. Manage vessel navigation using marine navigation systems to ensure smooth and secure transit across waterways. Oversee crew management, including training, assigning tasks, and maintaining clear communication to promote teamwork and safety onboard. Conduct routine vessel inspections, maintenance checks, and mechanical troubleshooting to guarantee optimal vessel performance. Execute rigging, manual handling, heavy lifting, and water transportation equipment maintenance with precision and safety awareness. Enforce maritime safety protocols during all operations, including passenger safety briefings and emergency response readiness. Lead vessel management activities such as docking, anchoring, and managing vessel logistics for seamless operations. Experience Proven experience operating watercraft such as jetskis or boats within the water transportation industry. Strong understanding of marine navigation systems, vessel handling techniques, and maritime safety procedures. Background in crew management or managing teams as a ship supervisor in a maritime setting. Knowledge of US Coast Guard (USCG) regulations related to watercraft operation and safety standards. Mechanical knowledge of water transportation equipment with experience in vessel maintenance and repairs. Experience with rigging, manual handling, heavy lifting, and water transportation equipment maintenance is highly desirable.
