Job Description
Responsibilities Safely operate a tri-axle/dump truck to transport materials to and from job sites Pick up and deliver stone, gravel, dirt, asphalt, and other construction materials as assigned Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures Maintain accurate daily logs, load tickets, and required documentation Communicate professionally with dispatchers, contractors, customers, quarry personnel, and job-site personnel Keep assigned truck clean and report maintenance or mechanical concerns promptly Safely navigate construction sites, quarries, plants, and loading/unloading locations Report to scheduled assignments on time and ready to work Qualifications & Requirements Valid Class B CDL required Clean and responsible driving record Must meet applicable DOT driver requirements Dump truck or tri-axle driving experience preferred Knowledge of Spartanburg and the Upstate SC area is a plus Ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle in various road, weather, and job-site conditions Dependable transportation to and from the truck/work location Strong communication and time-management skills Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Ability to pass any required driving-record, drug/alcohol, DOT, or other employment screenings
