Badger Daylighting is hiring Industrial Operators in Spartanburg, SC to support hydrovac excavation and industrial services for construction and utility projects. In this field-based role, you'll operate hydrovac trucks and related equipment to safely expose underground infrastructure using high-pressure water and vacuum systems. Responsibilities include site setup, equipment inspections, debris removal, and accurate documentation while following strict safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Operate hydrovac and industrial equipment to safely excavate around utilities and structures Follow strict safety procedures, PPE requirements, and regulatory guidelines on every job Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic maintenance on trucks and equipment Set up work sites, secure work areas, and communicate hazards to crew and customers Read and follow work orders, site drawings, and supervisor instructions Assist with debris removal, material handling, and site cleanup Complete required logs, paperwork, and digital reports accurately and on time Work outdoors in varying weather and construction conditions with frequent travel to job sites Collaborate with operators, laborers, and supervisors to complete projects efficiently Participate in ongoing safety and skills training and support new team members Required Skills Hydrovac truck operation Heavy equipment operation Basic mechanical maintenance OSHA and safety compliance Reading site plans and work orders Lockout/tagout and confined space awareness Commercial driving and maneuvering Job site setup and traffic control Industrial cleaning and vacuum systems Field documentation and reporting
