Location Downtown Full/Part Time Exempt from Classified Service No Minimum Rate 61792.35 Min Pay Frequency Yearly Maximum Rate 109120.39 Max Pay Frequency Yearly Regular/Temporary Regular Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Physical Science or related field. One year of enforcement or inspection experience in an environmental or law enforcement is required. Must present a Driver license during the interview selection process. Recruitment Notes This role is responsible for providing follow-up and enforcement for violations of Chapter 24 of the Code, including, but not limited to, sewage overflows; wastewater collection and transmission systems mandated under the Consent Decree between Miami-Dade County and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA). This role also enforces regulations for facility permitting; and violations of State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection regulations pursuant to delegation agreements, to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
