Job Summary Overview What You'll Be Doing The Junior Business Analyst role is a multiskilled, cross-functional position responsible for conducting user research, creating detailed process flows, business requirements gathering, and translating business needs into automated, digitized and scalable system and process needs, document user stories in JIRA, creating software requirement specifications and other documentation artifacts. This role will support business process analysis and reengineering initiatives, including process mapping, workflow assessment, and operational improvement efforts. Responsibilities Document current and future-state processes, identifying efficiency opportunities, and partnering with stakeholders to drive process optimization Conduct User Research to create end to end process documentation Facilitate stakeholder collaboration to identify operational pain points, process improvement opportunities and strategic objectives and turn them into cost effective scalable system transformations Identify, qualify, and document automation and digitization opportunities, including site level workflows and system handoffs Work with stakeholders to standardize processes Manage intake, prioritization, and onboarding of new functionality requests Ensure final designs meet business needs while minimizing complexity and cost Document Feature and Epic level Business Requirements and Acceptance Criteria for hand off to development teams using standardized Scaled Agile Methodologies Ensure all requirements are clearly mapped to business value, measurable outcomes and downstream workflow impacts Act as a gateway between business needs and system capabilities Document user stories in JIRA and also work on system documentation as part of the release development process Qualifications BA/BS and 1-2 years of experience as a business analyst or similar roles Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) & Scaled Agile delivery across multiple development teams Strong Agile knowledge, technical writing skills, data-driven analysis, and proficiency with collaboration tools Proven experience in creating development-ready Epics / Features and associated acceptance criteria including non-functional requirements Expertise in AI and automation technologies to support future-state process mapping, solutioning, and optimization opportunities (Workflow orchestration, AI-assisted decision-making) Proficient in technical writing to support creation of business requirements, implementation strategies Experience facilitating meetings and mediating between cross-functional teams and stakeholders (i...
