Reports To:
- Senior Vice President & General Manager, QES and Energetics US
- Position Summary
- Seeking a strategic and results-oriented Site Director to lead its Salem, Massachusetts operation.
- Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
- + Develop and execute the strategic vision and long-range growth plan for the site.
- Operations
- + Provide executive leadership for all manufacturing and operational activities.
- Engineering Leadership & Technology Development
- + Provide executive leadership for Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Test Engineering, and New Product Development activities.
- Program Execution & Customer Success
- + Ensure successful execution of customer programs across cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance objectives. + Establish rigorous operating reviews, risk management processes, and performance accountability. + Support strategic proposals, contract negotiations, and business development initiatives.
- Safety, Quality & Compliance
- + Champion an uncompromising commitment to safety, ethics, quality, and environmental stewardship. + Ensure compliance with aerospace, defense, customer, regulatory, and government requirements. + Maintain robust quality systems and operational controls that support business objectives and customer expectations.
- Qualifications
- Required
- + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related discipline.
- Preferred
- + MBA, Master's Degree in Engineering, or other relevant advanced degree. + Previous Site Leadership experience. + Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, or equivalent leadership certification. + Experience leading process improvement, automation programs, and growth initiatives. + Experience supporting government and defense programs.
