In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. Specialized experience is progressively responsible intelligence-related security work directly related to the position being filled. Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector or in another government agency as long as it was at a level at least equivalent to the next lower band in the series. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one (1) year of experience equivalent to at least the

GG/GS-13

grade level in the Federal service which prepared you to do the work in this job.

Specialized experience is defined as:

1. Directing the execution of property inspections, inventory audits, and corrective action plans to resolve asset discrepancies and investigator inquiries. 2. Serving as a senior logistics advisor providing authoritative guidance on property adjustment actions, (such as financial liability investigations of property loss (FLIPL)), and regulatory compliance. 3. Utilizing automated property book systems (such as GCSS or PBUSE) to maintain total asset visibility, resolve audit discrepancies, and establish internal control procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GG/GS-13).
