Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Beer Buyer to join our procurement team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing a diverse selection of beer products to ensure our inventory aligns with market trends and customer preferences. Your expertise will drive strategic vendor relationships, optimize inventory levels, and support our commitment to offering an exceptional beer assortment. Responsibilities Develop and execute sourcing strategies for beer products, including craft beers, imports, and mainstream brands, ensuring alignment with company goals and market demand. Manage vendor relationships through direct negotiation, communication, and ongoing performance evaluation to secure favorable pricing and terms. Utilize inventory management and back office software to receive, create and track all sku's Keep beer cooler stocked and organized Run register and help with other daily operations such as rotating and stocking product and hand selling on the floor. Experience Proven experience in purchasing or procurement within the beverage or retail industry, preferably with a focus on alcoholic beverages such as beer. Strong familiarity with back office receiving and inventory management systems. Demonstrated ability in vendor relationship management, vendor negotiation, and direct procurement activities. Proficiency in using spreadsheets (Excel) for data analysis related to pricing strategies, inventory control, and sales forecasting. Track record in customer service and product presentation Excellent communication skills for vendor negotiations and cross-departmental collaboration. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 45.0 per week
