• Monitor inventory, sales trends, product performance, seasonality, and store needs to determine purchasing requirements and optimize stock levels. Purchasing & Procurement
• Prepare and place purchase orders, source products, coordinate purchasing across locations, and adjust orders based on sell-through and business needs. Vendor Management
• Build and maintain vendor relationships, serve as the primary vendor contact, and manage purchase orders, deliveries, product issues, returns, credits, and pricing discrepancies. Pricing & Negotiation
• Review vendor pricing, menus, promotions, discounts, and terms; negotiate favorable pricing and promotional opportunities within company guidelines. Product & Vendor Evaluation
• Research and evaluate new products and vendors, assess quality and value, and provide recommendations to leadership on assortment and purchasing strategies. Financial & Inventory Management
• Manage purchasing within budgets, review invoices and POs, track credits/rebates/discounts, monitor aging inventory, and provide purchasing reports and analysis. Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
• Ensure purchasing complies with Colorado MED regulations and company policies; maintain accurate purchasing, vendor, inventory, and METRC records while protecting confidential information. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with store leadership, inventory, marketing, accounting, and operations to coordinate replenishment, receiving, promotions, product launches, vendor onboarding, and purchasing initiatives.

Required Qualifications Minimum 2-3 years of cannabis purchasing, procurement, inventory, buying, or related experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to analyze sales, inventory, and purchasing data. Ability to work independently and exercise sound business judgment. Must be at least 21 years of age. Posess a Colorado MED Badge Skills Working knowledge of the Colorado cannabis retail industry and regulatory environment. Strong understanding of inventory management and purchasing principles. Experience working with vendors and negotiating pricing or purchasing terms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organization and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple vendors, deadlines, purchase orders, and priorities simultaneously.
