This role supports purchasing and operations by confirming purchase orders, tracking vendor commitments and shipment timing, and keeping ERP and internal tracking data accurate. The work is communication-heavy and detail-driven, with frequent coordination across vendors, purchasing, manufacturing, warehouse, and other internal teams. Requirements 2+ years of administrative, purchasing support, order coordination, customer service, or similar experience, including experience in a manufacturing setting. Hands-on experience working with purchase orders, order confirmations, vendor follow-up, or related purchasing documentation. Strong Excel, Outlook, and Word skills with excellent attention to detail, organization, and written/verbal communication. Responsibilities Review and confirm purchase orders, project details, schedules, and related documentation for accuracy and completeness. Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding order status, delivery timing, missing information, and follow-up items. Maintain ERP/tracking data, prepare follow-up emails and reports, and proactively resolve discrepancies that could delay orders or shipments. Important Notes Office-based position in Franklin, MA with regular coordination across purchasing, manufacturing, warehouse, and operational teams. Monday-Friday schedule, approximately 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.; some overtime may be needed depending on workload. ERP experience is preferred, and an associate degree is helpful but not required.
Estimated Pay:
approximately $22-$25/hr depending on experience and qualifications, with the strongest consideration near the top of the range for candidates with solid manufacturing purchase-order experience.
