We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to manage and execute procurement activities that support production and operational needs. Must have automotive and tire experience.

Wage :

$25-$34 Purchasing & Procurement Prepare, process, and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery Expedite delayed orders and resolve issues related to changes, returns, or credits Collaborate with internal teams to align on requisitions and supply needs Maintain accurate purchasing records, documentation, and supplier files Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and responsiveness Conduct supplier site visits to assess capabilities and performance Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers Participate in supplier meetings, trade shows, and industry events Negotiate contracts and pricing to achieve cost reductions Analyze market trends and supplier proposals Track and report procurement metrics to improve efficiency and reduce spend Inventory & Demand Planning Monitor inventory levels to support production without overstocking Support Just-in-Time (JIT) initiatives and inventory consolidation Forecast material requirements and delivery schedules for high-volume items Qualifications & Skills 1+ year of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field Strong negotiation and supplier management skills Experience with inventory management and demand planning Ability to analyze pricing, contracts, and procurement data Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) Midwest Staffing Group & KeyStaff Professionals prohibits discrimination against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, creed, age, sex, national origin, ancestry, marital status, familial status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, veteran status, genetic information, status with regard to public assistance, and any other characteristics protected by applicable state, federal and/or local laws.
