Role overview
  • Senior Procurement Specialist responsible for executing end-to-end procurement activities with emphasis on supplier onboarding, qualification, purchasing processes, procurement systems, and user support
  • System expertise
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba, SAP Business Network, supplier enablement tools, SAP catalogs, and ERP platforms
  • Stakeholder partnership
  • Collaborates with internal teams, suppliers, and cross-functional groups to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant procurement operations
  • Independent execution
  • Works autonomously, documents new processes, maintains training materials, and delivers high-quality support to end users and suppliers Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier onboarding
  • Supports onboarding, qualification, catalog purchasing, and supplier enablement activities
  • Platform management
  • Manages supplier onboarding and qualification tasks within SAP Ariba or similar procurement systems
  • Supplier assistance
  • Guides suppliers through registration, onboarding, qualification questionnaires, and troubleshooting in SAP Business Network
  • Enablement support
  • Executes supplier communications, training, follow-ups, and issue resolution
  • User training
  • Provides training and guidance to internal users and suppliers on procurement systems, policies, and best practices
  • Documentation ownership
  • Develops and maintains training manuals, SOPs, user guides, FAQs, and process documentation
  • Process documentation
  • Clearly documents new processes and updates for internal teams and suppliers
  • Catalog management
  • Supports SAP catalog maintenance, troubleshooting, and supplier coordination
  • ERP support
  • Works within SAP ERP or similar systems to ensure accurate procurement transactions
  • Purchasing guidance
  • Advises stakeholders on purchasing methods, procurement processes, and supplier engagement requirements
  • Inquiry resolution
  • Monitors and resolves procurement inquiries via email, ticketing systems, or other channels
  • Customer service
  • Delivers prompt, professional, and accurate support to internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Task ownership
  • Manages assigned tasks independently and completes work with minimal supervision

  • Partners with Procurement, Finance, AP, IT, Legal, Compliance, and business teams

  • Education background
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, procurement, finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted
  • Procurement experience
  • Several years in procurement, purchasing, supplier management, sourcing, or supply chain operations
  • SAP Ariba experience
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba or comparable procurement systems
  • SAP Business Network
  • Experience supporting supplier registration, onboarding, enablement, and troubleshooting
  • Supplier management
  • Background in supplier onboarding, qualification, and supplier data management
  • Procurement lifecycle
  • Knowledge of requisitioning, sourcing, purchasing, POs, onboarding, and invoice/payment support
  • ERP proficiency
  • Experience with SAP ERP or similar systems
