Senior Procurement Specialist Odessa, TX | Competitive Salary + Bonus + Benefits I'm currently supporting a well-established industrial organisation in the search for a Senior Procurement Specialist to join a regional procurement team supporting multiple operational sites. This role offers broad exposure across strategic sourcing, stakeholder management, supplier negotiations and procurement operations, with responsibility for delivering commercial value across a diverse portfolio of direct and indirect spend.Key responsibilities include:
- Leading sourcing and tendering activities across a range of goods and services categories
- Managing supplier negotiations and commercial agreements to drive value and reduce total cost of ownership
- Identifying and delivering cost saving initiatives across multiple operational locations
- Supporting procurement strategies through market analysis, benchmarking and supplier engagement
- Working closely with operational and business stakeholders to align procurement activities with business objectives
- Managing procurement projects from opportunity identification through to implementation
- Tracking savings, supplier performance and procurement outcomes
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supply chain activities Ideal background:
- 5+ years of procurement, sourcing or category management experience
- Strong negotiation and supplier management capabilities
- Experience operating in a manufacturing, industrial, construction, energy or related environment
- Comfortable working with operational stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset with a focus on delivering measurable results
