In partnership with the Chief of Staff, the CEO of Alta Mira Recovery Programs is responsible for the strategic direction and growth of Alta Mira Recovery Programs. The CEO of Alta Mira Recovery Programs is the chief spokesperson for their program, with a strong focus on advocacy and relationship building within the local communities and national referent base. Minimum Qualifications Masters' Degree in Nursing, Psychology, Health Administration, Business Administration, or health-related field preferred. LMFT, LCSW, or Clinical Psychologist license required. Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in delivery and administration of multi-site management in behavioral healthcare required. Transparent, high integrity and engaging leadership skills. Solid budget management skills, including budget preparation, analysis, decision-making and reporting. Strong organizational abilities including planning, delegating, and program development. Public speaking ability. Knowledge of licensing and Joint Commission accreditation standards. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment. Flexibility and adaptability in schedule are essential. Employee and Talent Management:
Oversee and manage all of the facility Leadership Teams. Mentor, coach and support all direct reports, including evaluation and development opportunities. Review clinical and operating metrics versus expectations. Assists in recruitment of key leaders and contracted professional providers (physicians, psychiatrists, APP, etc.), if applicable. Work with team members concerning staffing needs on contract renewals. Collaborate with all corporate and administrator support functions to ensure success. Provide supervision/management of the admissions team to ensure that calls/referrals are handled correctly, and documentation is completed accurately and timely. Provide supervision/management of the local business development personnel. To ensure coordination of business development activities are aligned with the facility goals, documentation of activities is done accurately and timely as well as coordination with the national business development activities.
Executive-level Management:
Ensure that Alta Mira achieves clinical, service, financial and operating objectives. Report on key performance indicators, statistics, facility developments, and important developments. Keeps abreast and monitors adherence to all pertinent federal, state and CBH regulations, laws, and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified. Maintain all applicable Joint Commission and licensing standards Monitors the implementation and effectiveness of procedures and programs in assigned division. Participate in business development to include marketing, proposal writing and oral presentations. Establish collaborative and valued relationships with the referral sources. Assure that the programs have a long-range strategy to achieve the vision, and the ability to make consistent and timely progress toward that vision. Maintain a working knowledge of significant developments and trends in the field. Oversee the development and management of the program's group curriculum and manage ancillary service providers (e.g., outside clinical contractors). Partner with CHRO to ensure that sound human resource practices are in place at facility. See that an effective management team, with appropriate provision for succession, is in place. Uphold policies regarding professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and client confidentiality; monitor documents according to company and HIPAA policies. Make certain the programs demonstrate awareness and respect for cultural, lifestyle, age, gender, and sexual orientation diversities of clients and staff; apply knowledge of age, gender, and multi-cultural counseling skills. Meet timeliness expectations of quarterly goals and completing work as scheduled, demonstrating self-paced performance, and adjusting priorities as needed. Partner with Executive Leadership to lead and execute growth and expansion of facility.
Clinical Quality Management:
Develop and monitor clinical quality metrics. Identify departmental training needs. Ensure local leadership at facility are providing in-service training to staff and/or trainee on topics as needed. Evaluates and recommends methods of improving operational efficiency and cost effectiveness. Closely monitors all sentinel events and potential catastrophic illnesses and explores/utilizes all appropriate means of limiting both company and contractor's liabilities. Identify problem areas of operations and propose solutions. Conducts ongoing evaluation of services and health care programs, proactively identifies potential problems, and develops and takes corrective action. Promotes Quality Improvement standards by actively participating in the quality-of-care screen audits. Oversee all safety measures and ensure that clients and staff are operating in safe environment of care. Collaborate and contributes with Executive Leadership Team and other Facility leaders to ensure consistent quality service delivery across all Constellation programs. Meet quality expectations of accuracy, completeness, and responsiveness to feedback.
P&L Management:
Monitor and manage compliance and changes to staffing plans Provide leadership in developing programs, operating, organizational and financial plans with the Senior Leadership Team, and the facility staff Ensure key operating metrics are being met including but not limited to staffing/schedules/payroll, labor costs, supply costs, and turnover. Analyze financial statements and create and maintain financial forecasts, make suggestions for improvement. Responsible for fiscal management including operating within the approved budgets, ensuring maximum resource utilization, and maintaining the organization in a positive financial position. $220,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year
