We are looking for a hands-on hospitality leader to guide daily operations and long-term performance for a luxury boutique hotel in California. This role combines operational oversight, financial discipline, and commercial leadership, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction, revenue growth, and team culture. The ideal candidate brings a sharp understanding of how pricing, sales, service standards, and property operations work together to support exceptional results in a high-end lodging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Direct day-to-day hotel operations across front office, housekeeping, maintenance, pool areas, and limited breakfast service to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Lead financial performance by managing budgets, monitoring forecasts, evaluating key metrics, and identifying opportunities to improve profitability and revenue capture.
- Shape commercial strategy through active oversight of pricing, inventory, market positioning, group business, and distribution channels rather than relying solely on outside recommendations.
- Build, coach, and support a service-focused team culture that reflects luxury hospitality standards and encourages accountability, engagement, and continued growth.
- Maintain a strong on-property presence, stepping into operational needs when necessary and providing leadership during critical business periods, including weekends and holidays.
- Oversee relationships with vendors, tenants, and local partners to protect service quality and support the overall reputation of the property.
- Coordinate effectively with the independently operated on-site restaurant on matters that influence shared guest experience, property operations, and lease-related partnership needs.
- Partner closely with ownership and the designated hospitality representative to align day-to-day execution with broader business goals, brand legacy, and strategic priorities.
- Support capital planning and property improvement efforts, including renovation or expansion-related projects, while minimizing disruption to hotel operations.
