Recell (www.recell-ev.com) is North America's leading supplier of remanufactured battery packs, including Tesla, Porsche, Audi, Lucid and Rivian EVs. We are building the infrastructure to extend the life of electric vehicles at scale — and we're just getting started. We're hiring a VP of Vehicle Operations to join our team in a fast-growing, hands-on environment. You should be a builder and operator — someone who thrives on solving problems, improving systems, and leading teams on the ground. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve and execution matters. Experience working with electric vehicles, modern AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Anthropic), and managing frontline technical teams is required. If you're looking for an opportunity, not just a job , this is the place. Overview This is not a "maintenance" role — you'll be building the operating system from the ground up. You'll start by owning a single facility in Austin and grow into leading multi-site operations as we expand. As scope grows, compensation grows. What You'll Do 0-12 months Own day-to-day operations of our Austin facility Lead and develop a small team (technicians, shipping logistics, procurement, etc.) Build processes for throughput, quality, and efficiency Hire and train early operations staff Work directly with the CEO/Founder to solve problems and execute 24-36 months Help launch additional facilities Standardize operations across sites Manage multiple Facilities Managers Improve throughput, reliability, and unit economics Who This Is For We're looking for a high-upside operator early in their leadership career who wants more ownership and faster growth than a large company can offer.
Required background:
Tesla, Porsche, Lucid or Rivian Service Center Supervisor / Assistant Manager , OR Gigafactory, AMP-1 or Normal line / area supervisor , OR Similar high-performance operations environment Typical profile: Currently managing ~5-15 people Strong executor — hands-on, process-driven Comfortable working on the floor, not just behind a desk Looking to step into a larger leadership role quickly What This Role Is NOT Not a corporate "VP" desk role Not a strategy-only position Not a fit for career executives or salary-maximizers This is a builder role .Compensation Base:
