Open Project Manager Job Duties - Project management responsibilities include delivering projects on time within budget and scope. Project manager should have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis. The PM will interact with both Company internal resources and third party/vendor resources, as well as, coordinate activities across teams.Functional Requirements:
This position provides overall management of the contractor's performance under this contract. The Program Manager will be empowered by Contractor to make day-to-day decisions in support of this contract. Project Manager will serve as the primary contact point for both the Government's COR and the Contractor's employees. The Project Manager shall not work simultaneously as a contractor employee under any task order under the contract.Required Education:
BA/BS degree in administrative, management, communications, or relevant business-related discipline.Required Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of program management experience. Responsibilities - Develop/Maintain a detailed project plan to track progress Develop/Maintain weekly status summary presentation/report to present to Stakeholders and Project Team on a regular basis Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs Manage a team that coordinates and executes projects for public affairs, congressional affairs, visual information and multimedia, and technical library/archive, aligning with the organization's mission and goals, providing training and development to maintain skills and follow industry standards Requirements- BS Degree in Business or Science
- Proven working experience as a project manager in the information technology sector
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
PMP / PRINCE II
certification is a plus Must be able to pass applicable background investigation.Benefits:
