Defense Contract Administrator

Job Description

POSITION DETAILS
Principal Activities Review pump overhaul quotations to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, technical specifications, and customer expectations Preparation of quotes including verification of pricing, specifications, and order entry Communication of order status and official delinquency notifications Complete reporting of Government property Coordination with Government portals to obtain documentation for order shipments Prepare and submit Government direct and milestones invoices Support customer technical questions and coordinate with internal teams when applicable Coordinate customer return authorizations in accordance with company procedures Manage Government property audits and procedures
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge Skills & Abilities Experience with FAR, DFARS, ITAR and government procurement processes Proficient Excel experience Excellent communication skills Ability to multi-task Detail oriented Understanding of Government packing and shipping requirements (preferred) IFS ERP experience (preferred) Education & Experience High School Diploma Two years previous administrative assistant.
