Job Description
In this position... As a leader in our Purchasing / Supplier Technical Assistance Team (STA), your primary responsibility is to lead your team and supplier partners in the robust industrialization of the manufacturing process, deliver improved quality, capacity and reduce warranty on current model production and new model launches, utilizing standard tools and processes. You will also be responsible for the development of your employees and the development of a business plan for your specific suppliers that will achieve best-in-class launch, quality, capacity, and warranty performance. Guide your team to lead efforts in warranty improvements with cross functional teams and suppliers. Ensure alignment with Supplier Technical Assistants, Product Development and other Ford functions as appropriate to address technical and systemic opportunities. Guide your team in identifying systemic lessons learned from project work and ensure they are implementing systemic improvements.
