Product Engineer Body / D&R#26-01384

Dearborn, MI

Onsite Job Description Position Description:

Design and Release Engineer for rocker moldings, supporting rocker molding design and development, with additional responsibility for body scope oversight across related components/systems.

Requirements:

Design Release Engineer

Must possess an understanding of how to design & release injection molded plastics automotive systems components.

Preferred:

Previous experience in exterior systems design & release is also preferred.

Know how to design & release a rocker molding system to meet North American legal requirements, understand the design and release process, understand GPDS, and know how to provide feedback during feasibility checkpoints.

Possess an understanding of rocker molding/exterior trim system requirement.

Experience managing or coordinating body scope oversight across cross-functional teams and suppliers is also preferred, including tracking program timing, part maturity, and issue resolution across the body system.
