Job Description

Category Pharmacy-Director of Pharmacy Job Type Contract An interim Director of Pharmacy is needed to oversee pharmacy operations at a 99-bed hospital along with associated provider clinics in New Mexico. This 13-week contract assignment offers the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate. The primary responsibility is to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations while maintaining adherence to applicable pharmacy standards. The pharmacy director will have a leadership role managing day-to-day pharmacy operations and collaborating with clinical staff and administration to optimize patient care. The position works Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, for a full 40-hour work week. The facility utilizes the MedHost EMR system.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid New Mexico Pharmacy License Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Pharmacy Director Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulatory requirements and standards Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably with integrated provider clinics Familiarity with MedHost EMR preferred
