Job Description

Overview This position is responsible for safely monitoring, operating, and maintaining plant equipment to ensure efficient production while maintaining environmental and safety compliance. Ideal candidates will have previous cryogenic plant, gas processing, or industrial plant operating experience and be comfortable working rotating 12-hour shifts Responsibilities Operate and monitor cryogenic gas processing equipment and plant systems. Monitor process conditions and adjust equipment to optimize production. Start up, shut down, troubleshoot, and maintain plant operations safely. Monitor compressors, pumps, vessels, valves, instrumentation, and related process equipment. Respond to process alarms and abnormal operating conditions. Perform routine inspections, equipment checks, and preventative maintenance activities. Complete daily operating logs, reports, and documentation. Follow all company safety policies, environmental regulations, and operating procedures. Coordinate with maintenance personnel and other operations team members during outages and repairs. Qualifications Previous experience as a Plant Operator in the oil and gas industry required. Experience operating a cryogenic gas processing plant strongly preferred. Experience working on a DCS (Distributed Control System) board is highly preferred. Ability to work a 14/14 rotation and 12-hour shifts. Man camp accommodations provided in Carlsbad, NM. High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Must meet conditional job offer requirements.
