Full-time and part-time work available. Must be open to working mornings, graveyard, weekends, and/or holidays. Experience is a plus, but not required. Must be able to multitask, and have good customer service skills. Must know how to use a computer. Knowledge of San Diego county is a plus. We are a fast-paced, reliable towing and roadside assistance company serving our local community. We pride ourselves on fast response times, professional service, and supporting our drivers out in the field. Position Summary We are looking for a calm, organized, and reliable Towing Dispatcher to manage incoming emergency calls, coordinate tow truck drivers, and ensure smooth daily operations. You will be the crucial first point of contact for stressed customers needing roadside help. Key Responsibilities Answer high-volume incoming emergency and routine calls with empathy and professionalism. Collect accurate location details, vehicle information, and nature of the breakdown. Dispatch appropriate tow trucks or service vehicles (light-duty, flatbed, heavy-duty) using dispatch software [e.g., Towbook]. Monitor driver locations and job statuses in real time. Maintain clear communication with drivers, customers, and motor clubs or police departments. Log call details, generate invoices, and handle basic administrative tasks. Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in dispatching, call centers, or customer service (towing/logistics experience is a huge plus!). Ability to stay calm and make fast decisions in high-stress, urgent situations. Excellent computer literacy and multi-tasking skills. Strong geographical knowledge of the local service area. High school diploma or equivalent. Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, or on-call rotations if required.
