Job Description:

Core Responsibilities Driver Management:

Assign loads, plan efficient routes, and monitor driver hours of service (HOS) to ensure DOT compliance.

Customer Service:

Act as the primary contact for clients, providing shipment updates, managing expectations, and resolving issues.

Logistics Coordination:

Track shipments, handle delays, traffic, or breakdowns by adjusting schedules in real-time.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of driver logs, delivery locations, and freight information in the Transportation Management System (TMS).

Relationship Building:

Develop strong working relationships with drivers and customers to ensure smooth operations and high service levels. Betterteam +7

Key Requirements & Qualifications Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is typically required.

Experience:

Previous experience in freight dispatching, logistics, or transportation is preferred.

Knowledge:

Strong understanding of DOT regulations

Skills:

Exceptional communication, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with tracking software.
