Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Fleet Manager/Dispatcher to oversee and coordinate our transportation operations. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the servicing and dispatching of vehicles, ensuring efficient route assignments, and maintaining seamless communication across our logistics network. Your expertise in Vehicle Maintenance, fleet management systems, and customer service will drive operational excellence, optimize parcel delivery, and uphold compliance with Vehicle Maintenance regulations. Responsibilities Coordinate daily vehicle dispatching activities using transportation management systems and vehicle dispatch software to optimize route assignments and improve efficiency. Monitor GPS and delivery data to track driver locations in real-time, ensuring timely deliveries, adherence to schedules and metric compliance. Communicate proactively with drivers, Amazon, and internal teams via company communication systems and phone call management tools to relay instructions and updates. Maintain accurate data entry related to Vehicle condition, vehicle availablilty and vehicle insurance logs within logistics platforms. Ensure compliance with Amazon and Endurance standards/ regulations by overseeing driver hours of service, safety protocols, and vehicle maintenance schedules. Handle dispatch / route assignments, driver safety coaching and 3PL (third-party logistics) partnerships to streamline repair operations. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, managing expectations, and resolving issues efficiently through effective communication skills. Experience (preferred but not required) Proven experience in road transportation operations or fleet management/ repair roles with a strong understanding of Automotive repair licenses Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), vehicle dispatch software, GPS tracking tools, mobile applications. Demonstrated ability to manage vehicle service work. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and phone etiquette for effective internal communication and customer interaction. Knowledge of transportation regulations related to vehicle operation, driver safety standards, and compliance requirements is essential. Experience working with, mobile communication applications, data entry tasks, analysis skills for route optimization, and transportation planning is highly desirable.
