Early mornings required We are seeking a strong, experienced Dispatcher to manage the daily flow of our dump truck and trailer operation. This is a fast-paced, high-responsibility role that requires someone who can communicate clearly, think quickly, stay organized under pressure, and keep drivers moving efficiently throughout the day. The right person for this position knows how to balance customer needs, driver communication, equipment availability, traffic issues, and jobsite changes without losing control of the day. How To Apply BlueMaxTrucking.com Application - Blue Max Trucking What You'll Do Dispatch and coordinate daily work for dump truck and trailer drivers Communicate with drivers throughout the day by radio, GPS messaging, tablet, and phone Monitor routes, progress, delays, and changing jobsite conditions in real time Adjust schedules and assignments quickly to keep work moving efficiently Communicate with customers regarding scheduling, service requests, and changes Coordinate with the Shop Manager on truck availability, repairs, and maintenance needs Prepare and post daily driver schedules Audit previous day tickets and organize supporting documentation for billing Match the correct equipment for each job Alert drivers to traffic issues, weather concerns, jobsite hazards, and road conditions Assist with reviewing applications, onboarding drivers, and recruiting qualified candidates What We're Looking For Strong verbal communication skills and confidence leading drivers throughout the day Ability to multitask and make sound decisions in a high-pressure environment High level of organization and attention to detail Strong sense of urgency and follow-through Professional, respectful communication with both customers and coworkers Dependable, self-motivated, and able to take initiative Microsoft Office proficiency Experience with Samsara, TruckIT, or similar GPS/reporting systems preferred Preferred Experience At least 1 year of dispatch experience in dump trucks, dump trailers, construction hauling, or similar operations preferred Military logistics experience is also valued Why This Role Matters This role is critical to the success of daily operations.
