We are looking for a Transportation Dispatcher to join our team in Cleveland, TN. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced transportation environment. As a Dispatcher, you will coordinate daily transportation activities, communicate with drivers and customers, help keep shipments moving efficiently, and assist with overall fleet operations. What You'll Do Coordinate and schedule transportation routes to ensure timely deliveries. Communicate with drivers regarding schedules, routes, delays, and changes. Monitor daily fleet activity and help identify and resolve transportation issues. Use dispatching and transportation software to plan and optimize routes. Enter and maintain accurate shipment and delivery information in SyteLine or similar systems . Communicate professionally with customers and assist with questions or logistical issues. Work closely with the logistics team to improve transportation efficiency and customer service. Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed. Maintain accurate records and ensure information is communicated clearly between drivers, customers, and internal teams. What We're Looking For 2yrs previous experience in dispatching, transportation, logistics, or fleet operations is required Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable working with computers and transportation/logistics software. Experience with SyteLine, GIS, or similar software is a plus. Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures is a plus. Professional phone etiquette and a customer-service mindset.
