Full-Time Hourly About the Job The EMSFirst Aid Operations Supervisor is responsible for the daily management, supervision, and administration of the park's Emergency Medical Services (EMS), First Aid operations, workers' compensation administration, liability claims coordination, return-to-work programs, and medical readiness activities. This position ensures effective emergency medical response capabilities for guests and associates while maintaining compliance with applicable EMS regulations, medical protocols, company standards, and claims administration requirements. The role serves as the operational leader for medical response services and acts as the primary coordinator for employee injury management, workers' compensation claims, guest injury documentation, return-to-work administration, and related claim support activities. Free Park Admission Health Insurance Vision Dental Paid Time Off And more What You'll Do Essential Duties and Responsibilities EMSFirst Aid Operations, Clinical Compliance and Quality Assurance Direct and oversee EMS and First Aid operations, ensuring appropriate staffing, operational readiness, and effective emergency medical response throughout the park. Ensure compliance with applicable EMS regulations, medical protocols, physician medical direction, and company standards. Monitor service levels, response performance, patient care documentation, and clinical quality metrics. Conduct quality assurance reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate with medical directors, healthcare partners, and emergency response agencies to maintain high standards of care and operational readiness. Support medical preparedness for daily operations, special events, and emergency situations. Medical Equipment and Supply Management Oversee inspection, maintenance, inventory, and operational readiness of all medical equipment. Ensure proper availability of medical supplies, oxygen equipment, AEDs, medications, and response equipment. Maintain inventory control and purchasing processes. Coordinate repair, replacement, and servicing of medical equipment. Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare standards and operational requirements. Emergency Response Coordination Serve as the operational lead during significant medical incidents and mass casualty situations. Coordinate EMS resources and response activities throughout the park. Support Incident Command System functions during emergencies as assigned. Maintain relationships with ambulance services, hospitals, fire departments, and emergency response agencies. Participate in emergency preparedness planning and operational exercises. Ensure readiness for severe weather events and large-scale emergencies. Claims AdministrationReturn-to-Work Coordination Coordinate workers' compensation and liability claims administration, including documentation, recordkeeping, and communication with stakeholders. Assist with employee injury and guest incident investigations and maintain related claim documentation. Coordinate return-to-work and transitional duty programs for injured associates. Monitor claim status, work restrictions, accommodations, and recovery progress.

Support injury reduction, claim management, and risk mitigation initiatives. Personnel Leadership, TrainingDevelopment Training and Professional Development Develop and coordinate EMS and First Aid training programs. Conduct skills assessments, operational drills, and emergency response exercises. Coordinate onboarding and field training for new personnel. Maintain certification, license, and continuing education compliance. Support CPR, AED, and First Aid training initiatives throughout the park. Documentation and Reporting Maintain patient care records, EMS reports, workers' compensation documentation, and claims administration records. Develop reports related to injuries, claims, response metrics, staffing, and operational performance. Analyze trends related to injuries, medical incidents, and claims activity. Provide recommendations to leadership regarding program improvements and injury reduction initiatives. Ensure compliance with privacy and confidentiality requirements. Budget and Administrative Functions Assist with development and administration of EMS and First Aid operational budgets. Monitor departmental expenditures and resource utilization. Coordinate purchasing and vendor relationships related to medical operations. Maintain departmental records, reports, and administrative systems. Participate in operational planning initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Required Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Medical Services, Healthcare Administration, Emergency Management, Public Safety, Occupational Health, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Current EMT certification or ability to obtain and maintain certification. Minimum three (3) years of EMS, emergency response, healthcare operations, or medical services experience. Minimum one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience. Experience administering workers' compensation programs, injury management programs, or claims-related processes. Demonstrated knowledge of EMS operations, patient care documentation, emergency response procedures, and injury management practices. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Valid driver's license. Preferred Paramedic certification. Supervisory experience in EMS, public safety, healthcare, hospitality, entertainment, or large venue operations. Incident Command System (ICS) training. Emergency Management experience. CPR Instructor, First Aid Instructor, or EMS Educator credentials. Experience operating in a high-volume guest environment. Decision-Making Authority Direct and supervise EMS and First Aid operations, staffing, and emergency medical response activities. Ensure compliance with approved medical protocols, EMS regulations, and operational readiness standards. Administer workers' compensation, liability claims, and return-to-work processes in accordance with company policies and established procedures. Coordinate medical resources, equipment readiness, and healthcare provider relationships. Recommend operational improvements and suspend medical operations, equipment, or practices that present safety, regulatory, or patient care concerns. Physical Requirements Ability to respond to emergencies throughout the park environment. Ability to lift and move medical equipment and assist with patient movement when necessary. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and navigate park terrain for extended periods. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as operationally required. Other Duties Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support park operations.
