Ensures facilities are well maintained to enhance the customer experience, improve safety, and reduce spend by establishing preventative and scheduled maintenance programs. Partners with suppliers and holds them accountable for completion of contractual work scope. Identifies and develops multiyear capital plans and maintenance schedules. Implements policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all OSHA requirements and State and local regulations. The candidate seeks cost savings opportunities with current suppliers and researches/identifies alternatives. Orders supplies and equipment and submits quotes and/or purchase orders. Monitors and reviews any facility damage and recommends/implements plans to improve safety of operations to prevent the occurrence or recurrence of similar issues.

Team management and collaboration:

Collaborates with the General Manager, Shop Manager, Chief Instructor and Head of Finance to identify and develop routine and long-term facility plans. Develops operating and capital budgets, monitors spend and project timelines. Ensures any facility disruptions or shut-downs are jointly agreed to and communicated.

Education, Experience, Skills:

• Education and/or equivalent experience with a focus on facilities management, logistics and procurement.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles.
• Able to manage employees, outside vendors, and improvement projects.
• Able to support some non-standard work hours and occasional weekend work should the facility need to be closed to customers for repairs/upgrades.
• Skills and knowledge to self-perform minor facilities maintenance tasks such as drywall repair, light plumbing, painting, etc.
• A can-do attitude with a willingness to jump-in and get the work done.
• Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Needs a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, primarily Outlook.
• Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
