Full Job Description Job Description:
We are looking for an Engineering Director to join our team. This role is responsible for driving development of end-to-end CRM (Customer Relationship Management) products that allow our global teams to operate and serve our clients as One Newmark. This role will report to Head of Engineering and will be responsible for leading global engineering team spanning several functions from Developers/Engineers, QA Engineers, Performance Engineers, to DevOps including Release Management resources. Roles and Responsibilities Engineering and Execution This individual will provide technical direction and guidance to the teams during various aspects of the product development process including planning and project managing across engineering sprints. In partnership with Product Managers and Design teams, own and deliver against product roadmap. Track key success metrics to drive adoption, usage, and improvements. Develop and execute leading edge technology roadmap which leverages key metrics to support both new and existing products. Strong proponent and advocate for best-in-class CI/CD process. Stakeholder Management Develop and deliver scalable solutions to continuously improve stakeholder experience Collaborate with internal and external vendors to deliver industry leading solutions. Accountable for solutioning and engineering within Newmark's Capital Markets and Leasing teams People Leadership Should have extensive experience in managing teams spanning multiple sites and geographies. Drive and serve as a leader to elevate Newmark's engineering culture of continuous improvement. Manage and mentor team while helping to make them to be best they can be whole maintaining interpersonal relationship within the team. Requirements BS/MS in Engineering or Computer Science with 10+ years overall experience including 5+ years management experience Strong knowledge of software engineering principles in system design, scalability and performance of both backend and frontend systems Knowledge in CRMs is a big advantage Successfully led complex/transformative initiatives globally Experience in navigating across large, complex matrixed organizations Passionate about development tools, processes and technologies and continue to challenge status quo Ability to serve as a drive and operate with a sense of urgency
