Job Description

Position Summary The Regional Admissions Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing admissions and census development strategies across multiple skilled nursing facilities within the organization. This leadership role partners closely with Executive Directors, Administrators, Directors of Nursing, Clinical Liaisons, and Marketing teams to maximize occupancy, strengthen referral relationships, and ensure an exceptional admission experience for residents and families. The Regional Admissions Director provides strategic direction, coaching, and operational oversight to facility Admissions Coordinators while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company policies. Essential Responsibilities Census Development & Growth Develop and execute regional census growth strategies. Monitor daily census activity and occupancy trends. Analyze admissions, discharges, payer mix, and referrals. Partner with facility leadership to improve census performance. Admissions Operations Oversee the admissions process from referral through admission. Ensure timely clinical and financial screening. Standardize admissions workflows across facilities. Referral Development Maintain relationships with hospitals, case managers, physicians, home health, hospice, assisted living communities, and managed care organizations. Represent the organization at networking and community events. Leadership & Staff Development Mentor Admissions Directors and Coordinators. Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback. Financial & Operational Performance Monitor occupancy, conversion rates, referral response times, payer mix, and readmissions. Prepare reports and action plans for executive leadership. Compliance Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, CMS regulations, HIPAA, and company policies. Collaboration Work with

$90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
