Full-Time | Multi-store floating role across our Chicagoland area.

The Compensation:

$20.00 per hour.

Travel Coverage:

Mileage reimbursement provided for all travel exceeding your commute to the nearest central showroom (Downers Grove or Naperville).

What You'll Do Showroom Staging & Setup:

Partner directly with the visual merchandising team to execute floor moves, display resets, and store layouts. Unbox, assemble, inspect, and place solid wood furniture, wall art, mirrors, rugs, and display props.

Handyman & Maintenance Support:

Perform general showroom maintenance including touch-up painting, minor furniture fixes, light bulb replacement, and using ladders to adjust overhead display lighting.

Property & First Impression Care:

Maintain an immaculate "brand new" store appearance inside and out. Keep the showroom floor, storage spaces, and exterior grounds clean, organized, and welcoming.

Customer Pick-Up Preparation:

Unbox, assemble, inspect, clean, and touch up furniture prior to customer pick-ups, ensuring every piece leaves the showroom in pristine condition.

Inventory & Team Collaboration:

Assist the team with inventory counts and report non-removable stains, damage concerns, or supply needs to management immediately.

What We're Looking For Physical Capability:

Heavy lifter. Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 100 lbs. safely (with or without moving equipment), with the stamina to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and climb ladders throughout the day.

Handy Skills & Tool Proficiency:

Practical experience using basic hand/electric tools for light repairs, assembly, painting, and hanging wall fixtures or lighting.

License & Travel Capability:

Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable personal transportation to travel locally between locations.

Safety & Organization:

A safety-minded self-starter who works systematically, keeps storage spaces organized, and takes pride in an orderly work environment.

Precision & Detail:

High attention to detail with the ability to follow processes accurately and communicate professionally with team members and leadership.

Dependability & Teamwork:

A self-motivated, dependable team player who stays focused, works safely, and takes pride in doing things the right way.
