Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Lead Caregiver to join our caregiving team in the Downers Grove area. This on-call role is ideal for someone with a strong background in hospice and dementia care who is available to provide support as needed during the week. The Lead Caregiver will be on call Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, ready to step in to provide hands-on care, guidance, and support for both clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide in-home care services, including personal care, transfers, and companionship Support clients with hospice and dementia care needs Assist with mobility and safe transfers (including Hoyer lift experience preferred) Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care Offer leadership and guidance to fellow caregivers Respond promptly to last-minute or emergency shift needs
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in caregiving, especially with hospice and dementia clients Ability to perform personal care tasks and safe transfers Valid driver's license and reliable transportation CNA certification or similar preferred but not required Excellent communication and time management skills Must pass background check and provide professional references Why Join Us?
