Job Description

This position maintains oversight of facility operations and coordinates inspections and repairs. This working coordinator provides custodial services, maintenance services and coordination of contractors. This is a Monday-Friday position (days) - Full time, 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate contractors and inspections Opening of the building Monitor and order custodial supplies and office supplies as needed, completing purchase orders to do so. Coordinate facility preventative maintenance work, inspections, repairs, improvements, trash pickup, shredding and other work related to the building. Review and make recommendations on service contracts and leases. Maintain contractor contact list and alarm call list. Responsible for upkeep of maintenance issues with agency van. Identify areas of concern in the building. Maintenance and cleaning of floors throughout the building Clean and sanitize kitchen and restroom facilities throughout the building. Refill dispensers such as toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer, etc. throughout the building as needed. Trash collection Recycling Seasonally assist with weeding of the property and keeping the walkways clear of ice. Move furniture, tables, chairs and deliveries of paper products, etc. Room setup for meetings
Essential Functions/Qualifications:
1. Seven years' experience in custodial/maintenance field with basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge 2. Regular and reliable attendance 3. Time management and problem-solving skills 4. Self-motivated, able to work independently 5. Ability to effectively utilize a computer, Microsoft software, copier, printer and scanner 6. Attention to detail 7. Ability to meet deadlines 8. Accurate record keeping skills 9. Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of the organization and contractors
