Job Summary The Grain Facility Night Supervisor is a hands‑on technical role responsible for the preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of feed manufacturing and grain handling systems. This position plays a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability, operational uptime, and safe operation across the facility. This role will also provide relief coverage to the plant and elevator. This role supports multiple technical focus areas while maintaining a strong generalist foundation. Candidates may have primary strengths in Mechanical Maintenance & Repair with proven supervisory skills. This position will have a 90-day training period on the day shift before transitioning to the night shift. Maintenance & Reliability Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on feed manufacturing and grain elevator equipment, including conveyors, bucket elevators, hammermills, conditioners, mixers, motors, drives, and support systems Diagnose equipment issues, determine root causes, and execute safe, effective repairs Support continuous improvement of preventive maintenance routines, inspection standards, and maintenance practices Respond to unplanned downtime events and assist in restoring operations safely and efficiently Work closely with operations, engineering, and safety teams to resolve technical problems, support process changes, and ensure smooth coordination of maintenance tasks. Provide hands-on assistance and guidance to maintenance team members, fostering skill development, addressing challenges, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Create and maintain records for maintenance activities, equipment inspections, repairs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications:

Proven experience in maintenance supervision within grain handling, food processing, or a similar industrial environment. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective team management and collaboration. Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Proficiency with maintenance management systems, technical documentation, and relevant engineering tools.

Working Conditions:

This role may involve exposure to industrial equipment and processes and requires strict adherence to safety protocols found in a grain processing plant and elevator.

$75,000.00
