Job Description

The Family Life Center (FLC) is seeking a hands-on, reliable Facilities Manager to help keep our community venue running smoothly. This role blends custodial work, light maintenance coordination, and event support. This is perfect for someone who takes pride in a well-kept building and enjoys variety in their workday. Work the Schedule That Fits Your Life! ✓ Flexible hours available ✓ Days, evenings, and weekends as events require ✓ Great opportunity for extra income ✓ Be part of a growing community organization Position Responsibilities Perform routine custodial duties to keep the facility clean and presentable Coordinate and schedule repairs, vendors, and outside contractors as needed Set up and break down tables, chairs, AV, and event spaces for rentals and programs Conduct routine building and grounds inspections; flag maintenance issues before they become problems Assist renters, guests, and visitors during events Open and close the facility for scheduled rentals and events Maintain basic inventory of cleaning and event supplies Support general upkeep of the 40-acre property, including light exterior maintenance What We're Looking For Prior experience in facilities, custodial, or maintenance work preferred but not necessary. Comfortable coordinating with outside vendors and contractors Reliable, self-directed, and detail-oriented Able to lift/move event furniture (tables, chairs, etc.) Availability for evenings and weekends based on event schedule Apply Now!
