Temporary Opportunity ???? $28/r - $35/hr A premier international law firm is seeking a Facilities Assistant to support nearly 200,000 square feet of office space in its Washington, DC office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and taking pride in creating an exceptional workplace for attorneys, clients, and staff. What You'll Be Doing:
  • Prepare offices and workspaces for new hires, internal moves, and departures
  • Coordinate maintenance requests with building management and engineers
  • Set up conference rooms, events, client meetings, and trial/hearing spaces
  • Install office signage, bulletin boards, artwork, and workspace materials
  • Manage building access cards and support day-to-day office operations
  • Perform office moves, furniture setup, and workspace reconfigurations
  • Partner with vendors, contractors, attorneys, and business professionals to ensure the office operates at the highest level
  • Respond to facilities requests while maintaining exceptional customer service
We're Looking For Someone Who Has:
? Previous facilities, building operations, office services, or property management experience ? Strong customer service and communication skills ? A proactive attitude with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail ? The ability to work independently while thriving as part of a collaborative team ? Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is a plus ? Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting furniture, office moves, and event setup ? Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends when business needs require This role is ideal for professionals coming from law firms, commercial real estate, corporate facilities, property management, hospitality, universities, healthcare systems, or Class A office environments who are looking to join a globally recognized organization known for operational excellence.
