Forklift Driver Job Description We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver for a 1st Shift position from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. The role involves operating reach and cherry pickers while performing a variety of warehouse functions in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities Perform a variety of warehouse functions including picking and packing. Follow all safety rules and requirements and perform all housekeeping responsibilities. Load, unload, move, put-away, and stage products and materials using a forklift or other power equipment. Perform daily inspection on equipment. Check orders for accuracy. Prepare products for shipment. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Experience operating forklifts, stand-up reach, and cherry pickers. Ability to read, count, and perform basic math functions. Must be 18 years of age or older. High School Diploma or equivalent. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous warehouse experience is beneficial. 6 months or more of powered industrial truck (PIT) experience is appreciated but not required. Ability to handle moderate physical activity throughout your shift. Ability to lift and/or carry products that could weigh up to 40 pounds. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
