Job Title:

Forklift Operator Job Description The Forklift Operator is responsible for efficient material handling within the warehouse, including receiving products via railcar and truckload, staging, scanning, and loading material onto outbound trailers. The role requires maintaining inventory integrity and ensuring accurate record keeping of product locations and location changes. Responsibilities Receive products via railcar and truckload, scanning and putting them away in designated warehouse locations. Pick orders, including staging and scanning, and load materials into outbound trailers with thorough trailer inspections. Maintain 100% inventory integrity by accurately recording and submitting product locations and location changes. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including cleaning and maintaining forklift/clamp equipment. Ensure all SOPs, documents, and procedures are accurately maintained as required. Scan products into and out of the Abecas system using barcoding scanners as needed. Submit all required paperwork to the office for processing. Perform all tasks assigned in the Daily Building Checklist. Essential Skills Proficient in forklift operation, including sit-down forklift. Experience with picking and material handling. Skill in using RF scanners. Additional Skills & Qualifications Active forklift operating certificate preferred; onsite recertification available if expired. Steel-toed shoes required. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a Cold Storage Facility operating from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fullerton, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
