In this energetic role, you will operate sit-down forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently load, unload, and organize inventory within our distribution center. Your expertise will ensure safe, accurate, and timely movement of goods, supporting our commitment to excellence in warehouse management. This position offers a chance to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, precision, and teamwork drive success. Pay $18 an hour Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm Shipping and Receiving Exp Forklift Exp Must speak Spanish Responsibilities Safely operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and Hi-Lo equipment to load and unload shipments. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems and barcode scanning tools to track materials accurately. Pick and prepare orders with precision using order picker equipment, ensuring correct items and quantities are selected. Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety standards in production and warehouse safety protocols. Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment to maintain optimal operation and safety compliance. Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including verifying shipments against documentation and recording transactions. Maintain organized storage areas, perform manual handling tasks when necessary, and ensure materials are stored securely on pallets or racks. Experience Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts (including sit-down models), reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including inventory management, order picking, shipping & receiving procedures. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and OSHA safety standards in production environments. Experience in warehouse distribution settings with a focus on materials handling and heavy lifting. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order accuracy. Prior warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse management system oversight is a plus. Knowledge of equipment repair basics and adherence to forklift safety protocols ensures a safe working environment.
