Job Description
Duties:
- Operate forklifts, including cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and other types of equipment
- Utilize warehouse management system to track inventory and locate products
- Load and unload materials from trucks or containers
- Build and organize pallets or skids for shipping or storage purposes
- Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and report any mechanical issues
- Follow safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance tasks on forklifts
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Ability to operate cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and other specialized equipment
- Proficient in shipping and receiving procedures
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong organizational skills to build and organize pallets or skids Please note that a valid forklift operator certification may be required.
