Job Summary Join our dynamic logistics team as a Forklift Operator, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations through expert handling of materials and equipment. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of warehouse management systems and material handling equipment, including reach trucks, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo forklifts. Your expertise will help optimize inventory management, shipping and receiving processes, and overall warehouse distribution efficiency. We're looking for motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to maintaining the highest safety standards in production. Duties Operate various types of forklifts such as reach trucks, load & unload trucks, and heavy equipment like Hi-Lo forklifts while adhering to OSHA safety protocols. Manage inventory through barcode scanning for logistics, ensuring accurate order picking and stock replenishment. Load and unload materials efficiently using appropriate equipment like pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and manual handling techniques. Conduct routine equipment repairs and mechanical checks to ensure optimal performance of forklifts and other material handling tools. Assist with warehouse management system updates, tracking inventory levels, and maintaining precise records of shipments and stock movements. Follow warehouse safety standards in production environments, ensuring safe manual handling practices and proper use of warehouse distribution procedures. Support shipping & receiving operations by verifying inbound/outbound shipments and preparing items for dispatch. Requirements Proven experience operating forklift equipment such as reach trucks, lift trucks, or Hi-Lo forklifts within a warehouse setting. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshoot operational issues. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following OSHA guidelines for manual handling. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and data entry tasks. Forklift experience with a focus on safety standards in production environments is highly preferred. Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
